She even shared a story about a planner with tons of followers who only booked one wedding. One. That moment was a bell ringing in my head. It confirmed what I already know deep down: followers are not the same as trust. And trust has to be earned the old-fashioned way; by showing up, listening, and walking the walk.

I’m Diana, the co-founder (and mother half) of Hidden Hand Events. I planned weddings full-time for nearly a decade before taking a long hiatus.
